Thanks to the generosity of family, friends, neighbors, communities, businesses and strangers, Derek’s Memorial Fund has grown and we have been able to start using those funds to make the world a better place in Derek’s honor. Our goal is to continue raising funds to support others in need in Derek’s name.
Listed below are all of the things we have done since his passing, in his name. After January 1, 2015, we will have a “grant” program available to local schools to assist in purchasing supplies for math and reading programs, where the school’s budget doesn’t have the funds. This money can be used to purchase books, educational supplies, or computer programs to help strengthen the skills of these young children. Contact Us to inquire.

After Derek’s death, Brandee set out to write a short message/story which she presented to me while I was away at Fantasy Camp. It is a lovely story that she wrote about Derek and how his task, now in heaven, is to help all those who grieve. It is a beautiful story with photographs from […]
